Irvin McDowell:Led the union forces at the beginning of the war. George B. McClellan:Troop trainer and supply technician during the war. George C. Meade: leader of the union at the battle of Gettysburg,but Lincoln still searched for a new leader. Ambrose Burnside: leader of the union after meade didn't want to lead but did however he doomed the union while losing at the battle of Fredricksburg Joseph Hooker: the next leader of the union but lost at the battle of Chancellorsvile. William T. Sherman: Last leader of the union and led them to victory when forcing Robert E. Lee to surrendor. |
